"Elsaied Elkholy is Managing Director at Masuod elkholy Furniture, Damietta. His father started this workshop. Nowadays, with his two brothers, they manage the business under his supervision. His project wasn't always this big. In 2009 -2010 it was around 25% of what it is now. They have developed a lot in the last ten years. The Bank supported them in three different furniture exhibitions which gave us the chance to show our work and that opened doors for them to make new deals. Nevine Gamea is Head of MSME Development Agency, Egypt. Mohammed Rashad is MSMEDA Representative, Damietta. Damietta people are very clever in handicraft and the skills of carpentry work. But it's very important to increase their sales, especially for the international market. The design field itself gives women the independence to work and put their own ideas on the design. He try to push them in the industry and shops to have their own design. His goal is to make this industry sustainable and grow this industry. Mena Elgalmi is an egyptian furniture designer from Damietta. She is married and have a daughter named Janna. At first she try to understand for whom she is designing furniture, its primary use, and the needs and direction of the market.
