Waiting for Water in Liberia
Almost a decade after the end of a 14-year long civil war that destroyed Liberia's existing water systems, infrastructure remains underdeveloped. Only 17 percent of Liberia's 3.9 million people have access to adequate sanitation, according to the international non-governmental organization WaterAid.
