Entertainment in 2020 - Phew, What a Year!

2020 was looking promising - parties, concerts, movies lined-up and scheduled for the year but then in just a matter of days, everything fell apart. The novel coronavirus pandemic challenged the industry like never before. We grieved the deaths of Cameroonian jazz singer Manu Dibango, South African musicians Joseph Shabalala, Mshoza, and legendary actress Mary Twala. We also witnessed some artists exceeding, such as South African DJ Master KG having a stellar year with his hit song, Jerusalema featuring Nomcebo Zikode. The self-acclaimed African giant Burna Boy continues to reign on the music scene and shows his musical prowess to the world.
Here's some of allAfrica's coverage that had people talking.
