UNICEF is supporting the Ministry of Education through the Kenya Institute of Curriculum Development to develop new content and raise awareness on the availability of free educational programmes for both primary and secondary school learners to ensure continuity of learning.

The lessons are available on radio, TV, YouTube and the Kenya Education Cloud. Over 18 million students in Kenya have been affected by the closure of schools. An extended period of closure will impact children's wellbeing and have a long-term impact on inequality, as the most vulnerable families may not send children back to school.
